Netivot, a Montessori-based yeshiva day school in East Brunswick, NJ, seeks a Primary (3-5 year old) Judaic Studies teacher for the school year 2022-23.


Candidates must exhibit strong communication skills, have a collaborative, team player mindset, and an intrinsic respect for children. Must have previous experience working in Early Childhood environments.


Responsibilities include teaching Primary students all aspects of General Studies (math, language, geography, science) as part of a team with a Judaic Studies co-teacher; presenting all lessons using approved Montessori techniques; recording and reporting on the progress of all students; managing a classroom of 15-20 students using positive discipline; meeting with other team members on a regular basis and maintaining strong team communication; communicating with parents and with supervisors as necessary. Unless already certified, candidates must be available to participate in Montessori training during the summer of 2022.
