Accu Reference Medical Lab in Linden, NJ is looking to hire a Laboratory Specimen Accessioner.

Shifts may vary including nights or early morning with some weekends

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Process via data entry and accession multiple types of specimens and testing orders for laboratory analysis
-Perform specimen or reception check, and records information into LIS-Z
-Cleans work area and surrounding laboratory after completion of work day
-Requisition Review and restock department daily
-Handle hazardous waste in accordance to preset policies, protocols and regulatory standards

QUALIFICATIONS:
-Previous experience in a similar setting
-Must have excellent data entry skills
-Understanding of laboratory quality control and assurances a plus
-Knowledge of general laboratory safety issues and universal precautions a plus
