A growing e-commerce Retailer is seeking a knowledgeable and capable e-commerce sales director.
This position entails overseeing activity for multiple 3’rd party selling platforms, monitoring inventory and products, publishing and managing content, promoting optimal item visibility, resolving any issues and reporting to management.
Find new and ideal platforms and methods to display products and increase sales quotients.
Conceptualize approaches to increase company online presence and product visibility.
Implement effective methods for item publishing and marketing.
Ensure each item is displayed and listed for maximum visibility and effect.
Maintain active catalog of company items.
Publish effective online content including product titles, descriptions, images, attributes and pricing.
Ensure pages and content load promptly and accurately.
Monitor, analyze and improve on online traffic and activity.
Track ratings, comments, etc.
Respond to customer issues in a timely fashion.
Immediately resolve any identified errors or issues.
Organize returns, refunds, etc., as applicable.
Proactively anticipate and circumvent deficiencies and constantly strive to improve sales functionality and returns.
Track consumer trends and market trends. Conduct market and competitor comparisons. Adjust operational practices accordingly.
Employ best efforts to attain optimal online functionality and efficiency.
Report to management.
3 years related work experience.
In depth knowledge of ecommerce sales and marketing.
Knowledge of 3’rd party online sales, including selling and marketing practices.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Customer service aptitude.
Detail oriented, diligent and motivated.
Ability to conduct detailed research and analysis.
Ability to prioritize work effectively and meet deadlines.
