We are a family owned and operated civil/structural engineering consulting firm, specializing in community association and developer services. We have been in business for over 35 years and have an established reputation as a long-time pioneer and leader in our industry. Our firm is currently looking for someone to be our point person for proposal requests and preparation, to assist our managerial team in various project related tasks involving Microsoft Excel and Word, and to participate in industry events such as trade shows.
The person in this role as it pertains to proposals will secure the information needed when a client requests a proposal, and will work with our engineers and inspectors to create a final proposal for submission to the client. Our proposals are template based, therefore, this person must be capable of learning to work within our CRM. Assistance to our managerial team will include proof-reading technical reports, preparing bid comparison spreadsheets as well as various general admin support. This person will occasionally be expected to attend industry events which may include setting up our company booth and attending trade shows.
Expectations and future growth include gaining a knowledge of our different disciplines to become less dependent on the engineers and inspectors in regards to the preparation of proposals. This person will be coordinating 10-15 proposals per week, and therefore must be organized, proactive in order to gather information, detail oriented and motivated. This person must also be comfortable holding others accountable for providing information in a timely manner in order to ensure that proposal due dates are met. Familiarity with Microsoft Office is crucial. It is also important for this person to have a positive and friendly attitude as answering phones and speaking with clients is an integral component of our proposal process.
Salary Range: $50k-$60k per year. Part time opportunity available as well for those interested.
