Netivot, a flagship school of the Jewish Montessori movement in East Brunswick, seeks a 4th-6th grade Limudei Kodesh teacher for the school year 2021-22. This is a full-time position, Mon-Thurs from 8:00-4:30, and winter Fridays from 8:00-1:30. Responsibilities include teaching all Judaic Studies subjects (Chumash, Mishna, Parasha, Chagim,) using Netivot methodology; working alongside a General Studies co-teacher; recording and reporting on the progress of all students; managing a classroom of 15-20 students using positive discipline; meeting with other team members on a regular basis and maintaining strong communication; communicating with parents and supervisors as necessary. Experience with informal education is a plus! Candidates must be available to participate in Jewish Montessori training during the summer of 2021.
