Seeking a junior software developer to assist me in developing basehasefer.com, an exciting and advanced tool for Torah search and analysis. Perfect for someone just starting out in the industry.



Location: remote

Start date: between now and June 30

Hours: 25-40 hours a week

Candidates must be available to continue working these hours after the summer as this may lead to a long-term position



Candidate will have:

a desire to gain real-world software development experience
very solid Torah knowledge and a keen interest in developing and enhancing a cutting-edge tool for הרבצת התורה
the following skills:
Required: React, Javascript, HTML, CSS
Strong Pluses: Java, JUnit, SQL, experience typing in Hebrew and basic fluency in Hebrew
Nice to haves: Spring Boot, REST, Git, Gradle, IntelliJ, Azure or AWS
