Modern orthodox yeshiva high school in Northern New Jersey is seeking a Director of Student Support Services.

The Director is responsible for maintaining and strengthening the educational excellence of the learning center, and supervising learning center teachers. This position also requires determining, monitoring, and coordinating each student’s individual accommodations. The Director will work closely with administration, guidance staff, service providers, and faculty. The Director will also communicate with parents, and various diagnosticians from the county and from the private sector, and will be responsible for the learning trajectory of overseeing over 150 students

The candidate must have an advanced degree in special education as related to accommodating learning disabilities in a mainstream high school environment. The candidate must have training and experience interpreting educational and psychological reports from different professional sources. The candidate also needs to have a relevant leadership background, as well as applicable classroom experience. Experience with BCSS, as well as standardized testing agencies, is desirable.
