This position is instrumental in the product development process for newly acquired lines/brands, compiling product data sheets and specs, communicating with developers, assisting with QA processes, logistics, and seeing products through to successful development.

Responsibilities:

Oversee Research & Development for new product lines/brands.
Conceptualize Brand direction and products.
Conduct comprehensive industry and market research.
Compile information on products and their specifications.
Identify ideal means for product development and manufacture.
Convey product design details to the design teams and track ongoing production progress to confirm accurate and timely development.
Generate product description and user manuals.
Interface with artistic design teams and copywriters to assist with creating product packaging and displays.
Work closely with designers to create product prototypes.
Oversee QA process for prototypes and completed products.
Respond to inquiries or concerns.
Oversee the shipment of products internationally and domestically.
Follow all necessary laws and guidelines and ensure company compliance.
Research cost-effective freight and shipment methods.
Complete other related duties.

Requirements:

3 years of related work experience.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written.
Knowledge of Line of Product Development and QA processes.
Knowledge of national and international freight and shipment organization.
Detail oriented and motivated.
Good time management and multitasking skills.
Skilled at crises resolution.
Professional and personable manner.
Computer skills.
